Explorers

July 12 - 17

CEC, Aylmer ON

Facilitators will introduce first-time campers ages 12 to 14 to the wonders of co-operatives by sharing their history, while helping them discover the amazing CYL community that awaits! You will demonstrate and provide them with an understanding of the values and behaviours of leadership, help develop their teambuilding and communication skills, and share with them your experience of what makes a “great” leader. You will also lead a variety of traditional camp activities, while encouraging campers to begin leading their week at camp.

Adventurer

July 18 to 24

CEC, Aylmer, ON

August 15 to 21

Lake St. George, Richmond Hill ON

Facilitators will help campers ages 13 to 16 blaze a trail towards

co-operation, understand our CYL community, learn to overcome communication challenges, and lead the way towards building great leadership skills. You will lead activities focused on stereotyping, the influence of social media, as well as diversity and equality. You will also encourage campers to take over leading the week while having fun exploring the great outdoors and leading traditional camp activities.

Visionaries

July 25 to July 31, 2026

CEC, Aylmer, ON

Facilitators will help campers ages 15 - 18 solidify their basic knowledge of the co-operative sectors, supporting and fostering our future leaders, while providing them with the tools to make a difference in their communities. You will work with campers in teams to develop a plan of action on how co-operative sectors can work together to serve their members and community. Your plan will be presented to a panel of senior co-operative representatives for constructive feedback. Visionaries take over the responsibility of leading the camp with the support of their facilitators.

NEW IN 2026!

Adventurer week at the
Co-operative Education Centre

We are very happy to announce that the Adventurer week will now be available at the Co-operative Education Centre in Aylmer Ontario! This week is a combines curriculum from the Explorer and Trailblazers week for campers aged 13 to 16. Our returning or older campers will help facilitate activities while earning volunteer hours for school.
